New DHS Requirements Coming!
DHS has created on-line training modules for individuals that work as PCAs in the state of Minnesota. DHS has NOT announced a start date for this required training. You will receive notification from the office once DHS announces the effective start date. Please ensure you have a current mailing address on file at the office!
Summer Barbecues
The Minnesota Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities (MN-CCD) is hosting three summer barbecues so Minnesota voters can spend time learning about the 2010 legislative candidates from your district. Our lives are directly impacted depending on where our legislative members stand on issues about disability services and independent living. Take some time to discover where your candidates stand on the issues that matter to you while enjoying a free afternoon barbeque in your neighborhood by joining Courage Center and the MN-CCD so you can make a more informed decision on November 2.
Monday August 23: 5-7 pm - Boom Island Park, Area C, 724 Sibley Street NE, Minneapolis
Tuesday August 31: 5-7 pm - Kingsley Commons, 4550 N Humboldt Avenue S, Minneapolis
Thursday September 2: 5-7 pm - Powderhorn Park, 3400 15th Avenue S, Minneapolis
Payroll Process Change
We have updated our payroll process. Please watch the mail for new timesheets, guidelines and information on our new process. The improvements are based on your feedback and we are excited to work with you on these improvements. Please call the office with questions or you can also stop by the office between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM on Fridays in June to attend an overview session on the new process.
